Why are some programs and movies shown several times?

English Club TV is the first TV channel dedicated to English learning. The program schedule is made in such a way that all programs, movies, and serials are periodically repeated. That way, English learning becomes more efficient as new vocabulary and grammar can be transferred to long-term memory.

Firefox applications

Please notice that Firebug, Adblock, Adblock Plus, NoScript, and Flashblock can potentially prevent proper video playback. To find out what applications have been installed, choose "Tools" from the top menu and click on "Applications." You will see a pop-up window with a list of applications and themes that have been installed. If any of the applications are active, turn them off before you use Firefox.

Windows Vista with Aero

If you use Windows Vista with Aero and scroll through images in the browser window, it could be the reason for the video being played outside the player window. This problem can be solved by turning Aero off.

Why is the video or audio not playing?

Audio
Make sure your speakers are on, and the volume is not low. If the problem remains – please contact us through the problem description page.

Video
You may have to wait for up to 50 seconds. The delay in playback can be caused by content filtering, antivirus, or a proxy-accelerator. Please turn all programs off and try to download the video again.

Stopping, "stuttering" video

Video playback should not stop or "stutter" in normal conditions. But when too many programs are running simultaneously, streaming can be unsteady. If the video stream is not steady, you should close all running programs. Also, you could try updating your browser or restarting it. You could also try rewinding the video.

Video stream playback requires a lot of CPU usage. If your CPU usage is above 75%, "fading" or irregular video playback may occur. CPU usage can be checked by simultaneously pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del (Windows), and choosing "Task Manager."

CPU usage is shown on the "performance" tab.

Fullscreen mode requires more CPU resources than normal mode. Try to play the video in normal mode.
