English Club TV At Discop Africa 2014

Monday, 18 August 2014

The CEO of English Club TV, Mr. Andrew Semchenko took part in the exhibition and said:

”I’m happy to have taken part in this event and to have met all our business partners and potential clients. Events such as DISCOP Africa bring together not only the leaders in this field but also show the main trends of the market. I’d also like to say thank you to the organizers of this huge event Basic Lead for their great organization and the warm atmosphere of the exhibition.”

In commenting on his interaction with other participants Mr. Semchenko said:

“The event has shown to the market players and analysts once again that the production and distribution of educational content is a very important feature of each developing market. The combination of educational and entertainment features of any television program is difficult for a television director that needs to coordinate responsibilities with teachers or specialists in any field. I am confident that television should bring people together and educate and help them in their lives. My sentiment has been shared by the content managers and CEOs I met at DISCOP. Edutainment content is a fast-growing and a long-trending television niche that has a strong fan base. The English Club TV group came to the African market to share its experience in providing effective and attractive content in this field. And I am happy to get such positive feedback about the English Club TV channel and English Club TV content from 11 African nations that would like to offer educational content on learning English in their line-ups and TV channels. In this way the English Club TV group is honoured to bring its edutainment products to African viewers and give them additional opportunities for education and international interchange.”

Vladimir Grayvoronkiy, Head of Meetings & Professional Networking of Basic Lead, also had this to say:

“We were happy to welcome the English Club TV group to DISCOP Africa 2014, providing their team with a special package inside The Innovation Village as the company shows a truly innovative approach of learning through TV. Today, a remote education and e-learning services are in very high demand across the African continent. They unlock a wide range of education opportunities for people living in remote areas and help them to narrow the gap between urban and rural education levels. The offer of English Club TV contributes a lot to the development of this industry, especially in Francophone and Lusophone African countries.”
